Our Mission
Transitioning from recreational cycling to competitive racing can feel overwhelming, and newcomers often find themselves intimidated by the established racing community. Our goal is to help cyclists discover the same fulfillment and camaraderie from this sport that we've experienced over the years.
Since launching in May 2007, Chicago Cycling Events has served as a comprehensive resource for bicycle racers throughout the Chicago region—whether you're contemplating your first race, just starting out, or already competing at a high level.

Our Coverage Focus
Chicago Cycling Events concentrates exclusively on mass-start, sanctioned road racing—the discipline we know most intimately. We don't cover track cycling, mountain biking, or unsanctioned events, though we do feature some cyclocross content. Our geographic scope encompasses everything within approximately a four-hour drive from Chicago, extending roughly to Indianapolis southward, the Quad Cities westward, and Madison to the north.
Partnership Opportunities
We accept sponsorship arrangements on a selective basis.
