Mid-Week Road Racing Delivers Strong Turnout
Outstanding competition unfolded at the Intelligentsia Cup Prairie State Cycling Series event, the Willow Springs Road Race presented by Tower Racing. We're actively seeking your race experiences, video footage, and photo submissions to share with the community. Field participation exceeded expectations, particularly impressive for a weekday event. Having a quality road race in our backyard is something we truly appreciate.
The climbing segment provided reasonable selection, though personally I'd prefer seeing even more vertical challenge through the hill—perhaps next season could feature the shorter loop configuration for multiple ascents. Kudos to Tower for their excellent support in bringing this event to life.
Movement within the Pave Liga standings remains relatively stable as teams begin to cement their positions in the overall classification. We're entering the final stretch of the season, but numerous opportunities remain for teams to improve their standing. Mark your calendars for Elmhurst this Friday and Downers Grove on Sunday.
